We’ve always believed that a home should do more than provide shelter. And since we go to the trouble of designing a thorough energy retrofit anyway, why not make it beautiful while we’re at it? Why not be thoughtful and create something that engages every sense and stands the test of time?

The Michelangelo Project is where that belief became reality.

This is the home we chose to renovate to Net Zero Ready, because we believed in this vision enough to commit to it ourselves. We weren’t thinking about return on investment, we were thinking about the importance of investing in our future selves, and in our present comfort, our health, and our quality of life. What you see here is a genuine and deeply personal transformation of an existing house into one of the most thoroughly engineered building envelopes in Canada, wrapped in timeless design.
