We met our clients at the Home Show in 2017, and they were eager to fix their basement. And for good reason – it wasn’t just outdated, it was unsafe. Over the years, different people had taken turns “improving” the space, leaving behind electrical work that was flat-out dangerous. The underground plumbing had reached the end of its life, and we uncovered structural issues, mold, and other hidden problems that couldn’t be ignored.

In short, the basement was a mess. But the house – a post-war home in Old Ottawa South – deserved some love. 

Our clients were a perfect fit for us. They knew what they wanted, were quick to respond, and were committed to getting it done right the first time. That gave us the chance to deliver exactly what they asked for – and a little extra.

The result: a safe, solid, healthy basement that will last for years to come.

Oh, and…they’ve asked us back to work our “magic” again, to design and renovate the rest of the house!
