When our clients purchased their Overbrook home in 2017, they were excited – until closing day, when the reality set in. With the windows closed, an overpowering smell filled the house: cats had been marking their territory for years, and the damage was far worse than they anticipated. We couldn’t be in the house for more than 10 minutes without our eyes watering and gag reflex set in.

They reached out to us for help, and we were ready to take on the challenge. With our background in remediation from fire and smoke damage, we were confident we could not only eliminate the odour but give the home a fresh start.

We stripped the house back to the floor joists, removing every contaminated layer. This gave us the opportunity to tackle hidden issues too, like correcting ductwork problems and sealing air leaks. Over the course of three months, we completely transformed the space, erasing every trace of the cat odours and delivering a beautiful, healthy home the family could finally enjoy.
