What types of projects do you take on?
We love working on larger projects where design really matters. The best results come when we take the time up front to create a thoughtful plan – one where every detail works together as a system. Once the vision is clear and the design is dialed in, the building process becomes smooth, enjoyable, and delivers exactly what our clients imagined.
Do you do kitchens or bathrooms?
We usually take on kitchens and bathrooms as part of a larger renovation. That said, we’ll consider smaller stand-alone projects for clients who value thoughtful design and have a reasonable budget.
How long does it take to design a whole home renovation?
It’s a smart idea to start planning at least a year before construction begins. The more time we put into thoughtful design up front, the faster and smoother the work will go. Our goal is to iron out the wrinkles early, so production runs seamlessly.
Can I live at home during the renovation?
For major interior renovations, we ask that alternative living arrangements are in place before production begins. If the work is mainly exterior, most families can stay in their homes with minimal disruption.
To make things easier, we offer our fully furnished Airbnb townhouse exclusively to our clients during renovations—a comfortable “home away from home” while we get the work done.
What kind of warranty do you offer?
We provide a two-year warranty on all workmanship, with the option to include a five-year extended warranty in your contract. On occasion, we’ve even returned to address issues beyond that timeframe – handled on a case-by-case basis. Our goal is always to stand behind our work and ensure our clients feel taken care of.
How much does a design cost?
Our design fee is based on the overall size of the project. We typically charge 5–6% of the construction value. For example, if your renovation is around $300,000, the design fee would be about $18,000.
